Vent-Rite Attic Vents

Plymouth Foam's Vent-Rite attic vents provide a continuous flow of fresh air in attics to combat the problems associated with excessive moisture and humidity levels. Vent-Rite's closed cell structure make them impervious to the effects of moisture to maintain peak performance for yearts after installation.

Available in 12", 16" and 24" on-center, Vent-Rite attic vents are suitable for use in a wide variety of new construction methods as well as retro-fit applications on esisting structures. When used as an integral component in a building's insulation and attic systems, Vent-Rite attic vents help to improve the overall efficiency of heating and cooling systems for year-round comfort.

  • Improves Cross-Ventilation
  • Reduces Moisture and Humidity
  • New Construction or Retrofit
  • Completely Moisture-Resistant

With Vent-Rite Attic Vents:

By allowing free air circulation above the insulation level, Vent-Rite attic vents are designed to let attics breathe to reduce the problems associated with excessive moisture and humidity build-up.

In winter, ice dams are eliminated to avoid costly root and eave repairs. Vent-rite attic vents also help retard heat loss between the wall plate and roof sheathing by allowing insulation to remain in this critical area.

In summer, heat buildup is minimized to maintain attic temperatures that are nearly equal to outside air conditions. With Vent-Rite attic vents, homes stay cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.

WITHOUT Vent-Rite Attic Vents:

In winter months, cooler air is not allowed to ventilate to the attic. As a result of this, melting snow forms dangerous and destructive ice dams which can cause premature roof and eave failure. Trapped moisture in attics can significantly reduce the efficiency of glass fiber insulation, as well as cause humidity, mold, and mildew problems within the home and attic.

Prolonged moisture exposure can cause dry rot which, left uncorrected, can affect the structural integrity of framing members.

In summer, improperly ventilated attics retain hot air and raise temperatures in the living area.
